Optional Cycle Ride: Following the breakfast workshop and presentations, participants are invited to join a fully supported morning bike ride along the Greenbelt Route. The morning rides are shorter and geared towards recreational and occasional cyclists. The ride will take between 1.5 and 2 hours. ** Hamilton has generously chartered a bus to transport riders and their bikes from the lunch location back to the Stoney Creek start point in order to facilitate participation in the morning ride. Participants may leave their vehicles parked at the Hotel C in Stoney Creek and return to them following lunch.** 9:30 - 11:30 am - 27km ride to Ancaster, Hamilton Lunch - Ancaster, Hamilton. There will be no formal presentations at this workshop. The primary purpose of Saturday's workshop is to field test the routes and maps.
Optional Cycle Ride: Following the breakfast workshop and presentations, participants are invited to join a fully supported morning bike ride along the Greenbelt Route. The morning rides are shorter and geared towards recreational and occasional cyclists. The ride will take between 1.5 and 2 hours. 9:30 - 11:30 am - 36km ride to Alderville Lunch - Alderville - Alderville First Nation Black Oak Savanna Ecology Center, 8467 County Road 18 Alderville, ON K0K 2X0 12:00 - 1:30pm - Lunch and Route Discussions
